Design For Six Sigma
We offer two programs of DFSS:
Design For Six Sigma - Team Training (All participants are required to attend with a DFSS project)
Objectives:
- use and apply the methods and tools of DMADV to design new products or services
- apply specific DFSS tools to all aspects of their project
- function as a DFSS team
- develop Multi Generational Project Plans
- ensure the products and services meet their customer requirements
Design For Six Sigma - Team Leader Training (MBBs, BBs, GBs or Champions who desire a deep understanding of the DFSS methodology)
Objectives:
- the methods and tools of DMADV through a simulated design of a Small Business Product and associates Service processes
- this course uses the same base material as DFSS Team training. The only difference is that participants apply DMADV to the simulated case study instead of their own project
DFSS Training Pre-request:
Before enrolling for either DFSS Training, participants will need to have graduated from a respected
Black Belt DMAIC program with a minimum of one Six Sigma project completed. DFSS Training builds upon
the skills and concepts developed in DMAIC. In addition, participants should come to class with a laptop
computer running Minitab application.
